Hey, this is cool. I am trying Typepad's new Quick Compose blog posting feature for this post. It doesn't allow links, I don't think, but you can add photos and stuff, perfect for a more spontaneous post.
You see, to write a post takes me no time at all, it's all the fiddly bits (formatting, linking to friends' posts and related sites etc.) that takes me time. That said, that's also what makes certain posts more interesting.
Still, this could be a good tool for the kind of post that is "bigger than a tweet, smaller than a blog post." In fact, the content is edited into a little window like a speech bubble, not unlike Twitter's interface. Hmmmm.
